April 6 – Heading to the trail
OK, Joyce, you ask what’s the funniest that happens each day. Here goes.
In Bound Brook where we were taking a break, a woman wondered what our group was all about. When we told her that to celebrate two 75th birthdays we were walking from New York to Philadelphia, she asked, Oh, what’s going on there?
Methinks she’d not heard that quotation about the journey being more important than the destination!
Enjoy the pics.

April 4 – A little rain must fall
Today we walked from Hampton Inn, in Harrison, NJ (Harrison named after our 9th President) to Clarendon, NJ. A three-library day: Newark, Hillside, Union + little neighborhood “freelance” library. Lunch at Mark Twain Diner in Union. Bought Blood of an Aries by Linda Mather for 25 cents at Union Public Library. Appropriate for this group which includes 5 Aries.
