Here are a few photos from a recent stroll which includes the bulk of the New York to Philadelphia walking group.

Did you start your walk today?
Yes, and what a perfect day it was!
The sun was shining, and it seems as if everyone in New York was outside enjoying the weather.
Everyone on the walk had a great time exploring New York, so much to see there. It was a very long day, so no time to make a blog post of our first day.
This evening we will update the blog with details about days one and two of the walk.
So looking forward to your blogs and seeing you in Princeton on Apr. 7.
Think we’ve warmed up enough here to make it good walking weather.

Please give us more of your Manhattan weather like you had for us yesterday — and less of the cool drippy stuff we saw today — too much like your Enumclaw roots.
In scouting today for the Sunday walk I saw piles of snow in a parking lot still waiting to melt.
Anxious to see you and I’ll meet your train on Monday so you can meet these hard core hikers. Think Easter time and imagine a group of energizer bunnies explaining to hotel people and cab drivers that they are walking to the Liberty Bell. Those puzzled listeners may be thinking “Mad Hatters”!

I hope Put Your Best Feet Forward can keep up now that she is 75.
